Ingredients

  • Oil for frying

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)

  • 1 tsp garlic paste

  • 1 tsp ginger paste

  • 7 shrimp (cleaned)

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 cup carrot (sliced)

  • 1/2 cup capsicum (sliced)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp soya sauce

  • 1 cup (165 gram) basmati rice (boiled)

Directions

  • Step 1:
    Beat the eggs with a little salt and make an omelet with a bit of oil. Once done, cut the omelet into small pieces and set it aside.
  • Step 2:
    In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add chopped onions, garlic paste, ginger paste, shrimp, and chili powder. Stir everything well and season with a little salt. Fry lightly for about 2-3 minutes. Then add the sliced carrots, capsicum, black pepper powder, and soya sauce. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Step 3:
    Add the cooked rice (previously boiled and drained) to the shrimp and vegetable mixture. Season with salt to taste and mix everything well. Then add the fried egg pieces and stir to combine everything properly. Delicious shrimp fried rice is now ready.

    Garnish as desired and serve hot.
